Hana: On Thursday, December 22, 2022, 26-year-old athlete Ashkan Maruti, the son of Suleiman and a native of Sanandaj, was sentenced to “Moharebeh” by the first investigation branch of the Sanandaj General and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office.
Ashkan Morovati was seriously injured in the evening of Friday "October 28, 2022" during a clash with the military forces of the government and was operated on in Kausar Hospital of this city.
Also, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, he was arrested by government forces at Kausar Sanandaj Hospital and transferred to the central prison of this city.
It should be noted that Ashkan Morovati posted on his Instagram page a photo of the court verdict on which he was charged with "Moharebeh" and wrote:
"Sacrifice my life not once but a hundred thousand times for Iran, for my people"
