On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the Hana Human Rights Organization, in collaboration with several other civil society groups, organized a protest rally in the city of Cologne. The demonstration was held in condemnation of the massacre and widespread human rights violations committed during the Bandar Abbas incident.
Participants carried placards and chanted slogans demanding accountability from the authorities of the Islamic Republic.
During the rally, representatives of Hana gave speeches, describing the Bandar Abbas incident as a crime against humanity and calling for an international investigation into the matter. The execution of political prisoners in recent months was also strongly condemned.
The artistic section of the event featured protest music and songs, performed in solidarity with the families of victims and resilient political prisoners.
