The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Navid Salehi, a 26-year-old nurse from Mazidi (“Maziri”), Paveh County, and a resident of Kermanshah, lost his life in the Daradrizh area during popular protests in Kermanshah after being directly shot by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to information received by Hana sources, security and military forces violently suppressed protesters using military-grade weapons.
