According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, January 9, 2026, a young Kurdish man identified as Saman Fatahi, son of Ali Mamad and a native of Kermanshah Province, lost his life during popular protests in the province as a result of direct gunfire by repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
