Identification of four Kurdish citizens among those killed during the January 2026 popular protests

The Hana Human Rights Organization has confirmed the identities of four Kurdish citizens from Kermanshah Province who lost their lives during popular protests between 8 and 9 January 2026, in the cities of Karaj, Kermanshah, and Alvand in Qazvin Province, as a result of direct gunfire by the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The identities of the victims are as follows:

Arman Moradi, 32 years old and from Kermanshah Province, was killed on the evening of 8 January 2026 during popular protests in the city of Karaj after being shot directly with live ammunition by the suppressive forces. His body was laid to rest on 11 January 2026 in Mahidasht, Kermanshah.

Milad Baghfalaki, 32 years old and from Kermanshah Province, was killed on the evening of 8 January 2026 during popular protests in the city of Karaj after being struck by live ammunition fired by the suppressive forces. His body was buried on 11 January 2026 at Behesht-e Bagh-e Ferdows Cemetery in Kermanshah.

Diako Sokhaei, 36 years old and from the city of Ravansar, was killed on the evening of 9 January 2026 during popular protests in the Elahiyeh district of Kermanshah after being shot with live ammunition by the suppressive forces. His body was laid to rest on 11 January 2026 in Ravansar.

Rasoul Badparan, 39 years old and from Kermanshah Province, was killed on the evening of 8 January 2026 during popular protests in the city of Alvand in Qazvin Province after being struck by live ammunition fired by the suppressive forces. His body was buried on 10 January 2026 at Behesht-e Fatemieh Cemetery in Alvand.
