The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Saturday, September 20, 2025, a Kurdish tradesman identified as Chiya (Khezr) Ahmadnejad, son of Mohammad-Amin and a native of Piranshahr, was killed by direct fire from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Chiya (Khezr) Ahmadnejad, 42, was married and the father of three children.
According to Hana’s sources, the armed forces pursued this Kurdish citizen from Piranshahr toward the village of Ziweh, where they shot him at close range with three live rounds. After the shooting, they abandoned his lifeless body at the scene. Several hours later, local residents discovered his remains, and he was buried the same evening.
It is noteworthy that at the time of the shooting, this Kurdish tradesman was carrying no goods whatsoever and was targeted solely on suspicion of transporting merchandise.
