The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Bayat Sobhani, a resident of Shamshireh village, Paveh County, lost his life during popular protests in Kermanshah after being directly shot by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to information received by Hana sources, security and military forces violently suppressed protesters using military-grade weapons.
