The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on the morning of Friday, 20 March 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Awat Sargoli, from Kouseh Kahriz village in Mahabad, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or his place of detention.
It is worth noting that, with this case included, at least four Kurdish citizens were arrested by security forces in Mahabad on Friday.
