According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, Asmar Hamidi, a Kurdish artist and singer from Maneh-Samlaqan in North Khorasan Province, was arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
According to Hana’s sources, security officers detained her without presenting any judicial warrant, and at the same time, her personal Instagram account was rendered inaccessible.
It should be noted that Asmar Hamidi has previously been summoned and arrested several times by security agencies due to her cultural and civic activities. As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for her arrest, the charges brought against her, or her place of detention.
