Ahmad Alizadeh a labor and cultural activist was arrested by security forces in Lorestan

The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, Ahmad Alizadeh, a labor and cultural activist from the city of Abdanan, was arrested by security forces.

According to reports received, Mr. Ahmad Alizadeh was previously among those detained during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement. He had earlier been sentenced to 27 months of imprisonment and five months of house arrest under electronic ankle monitoring. After serving one third of his prison sentence, he was transferred to the city of Fanuj in Sistan and Baluchestan province to serve a two-year internal exile sentence.

It should be noted that Mr. Alizadeh’s two-year exile period in Fanuj has not yet ended, and he is currently considered to be absent from his designated place of exile.
