12 Kolbers were killed by military forces in a week

According to the report of Hana Human Rights Organization Statistics Center: “from January 3, to January 10, 2024”, at least 12 Kolbers were killed and wounded by the armed forces of Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to these statistics, out of a total of 12 Kolbers, 2 Kolbers were killed in less than 24 hours by direct fire from the border regiment forces.
Among these kolbers, the youngest was 18 and the oldest was 50 years old, who were injured by military forces while they were carrying load at the border.
On Wednesday morning, January 10, 2024, a Kolber with the identity of "Mirza Ahmadi", 43 years old, married, father of two children and from the village of "Hanjah" was shot by the military forces stationed at the border while he was carrying load in the "Zale" border zone of Baneh and he was killed.
In the evening of Tuesday January 9, 2024, a 33-year-old married and father of one child with the identity of "Shorsh Khargoshi" and from the village of "Zaviehjik" in Selmas County, was shot by the military forces and killed while carrying a load in the border heights of Hengjal Baneh.
On Tuesday January 9, 2024, a 19-year-old Kolber with the identity of "Yousef Choupani" from Saqqez was shot and wounded in the leg area while he was carrying load at the border of Hengjal-Baneh.
On the evening of Monday, January 8, 2024, a kolber, with the identity of "Amir Elahi", 25 years old, married, father of one child, and from Salas Babajani, was seriously injured in shoulder area while he was working in the border zone of Nasud, following the shooting of military forces with shotguns.
Mr. Elahi was taken to Rasoul Akram hospital in Javanrood city for medical treatment and then he was transferred to Taleghani hospital in Kermanshah due to the severity of his injuries.

On Sunday, January 7, 2024, three Kolbers, with the names "Taha Gul Mohammadi", 33 years old, from Saqqez, Hamid (family name unknown), 35 years old, from Shahindj, and Reza Haseni, from Saqqez, were shot by the forces of the Border Regiment with shotguns in the Hengjal border strip and Reza Haseni was severely wounded in the hand area.
On Sunday, January 7, 2024, a 50-year-old man with unknown identity and a native of Horaman, from Sarvabad, fell while working in the border heights of Horaman and suffered fractures in his head and legs.
On Saturday, January 6, 2024, another kolber, with the identity of "Soran Daneshmehr", an 18-year-old teenager from the village of "Desha" in Paveh County, was shot at by the military forces with a Kalashnikov weapon while he was carrying load at the border of Nosud. He was wounded in the leg by a bullet.
On Thursday, January 4, 2024, a Kolber with the identity of "Hiva Mahmoudi" from Saqqez was shot by border regiment forces while he was carrying a load at the "Hengjal" border of Baneh, and he was seriously injured in the stomach area and was taken to a medical center for medical treatment. 
Also, on the evening of Wednesday, January 3, 2024, a group of Kolbers were shot by the forces of the border regiment stationed at this border with shotguns while they were carrying load in the border area of Nousud.
As a result of this shooting, two Kolbers named "Hossein Rostami" from Javanrood and "Farhad (unknown family) from Tazabad from Shahu district of Ravansar city were seriously injured in their hands and feet.
Kolbari (carrying load on one's back) is a phenomenon resulting from systematic poverty and unemployment in Kurdistan, and people take refuge in Kolbari out of necessity, while the government officials do not make any effort to solve the livelihood problems of the people of Kurdistan, but they have also made the killing of Kolbers a regular news and this is a dangerous alarm for the people of Kurdistan. Police forces, IRGC, or border guards of the Islamic Republic shoot directly at Kolbers and kill or injure a number of them daily.
