According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, 9 January 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Fereshteh Keshavarzi, from Harsin in Kermanshah Province, was killed during popular protests in Karaj as a result of direct live fire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to additional information, the body of this Kurdish citizen was buried at Behesht-e Rezvan Cemetery in Parand, located in Robat Karim County, Tehran Province.
