According to information received by Hana Human Rights Organization, Sina Shams, 28 years old, son of Saeed and a resident of Tehran, was arrested on the evening of Saturday, 14 February 2026, by security forces at his private residence, without the presentation of any judicial warrant.
According to an informed source, following his arrest, he was able to make a very brief phone call of approximately 20 seconds to his family, during which he stated: “If you don’t do something, in a day or two they will issue a moharebeh verdict for me.”
These statements have raised serious concerns regarding psychological pressure and the lack of transparency in the handling of his case.
The source further stated that Sina Shams was transferred to the quarantine ward of Evin Prison after his arrest.
It should be noted that, as of the time of this report, no official information has been provided regarding the charges against him, his physical or mental condition, or his access to a lawyer or the possibility of regular contact with his family.
