January protests / Rezvan Abdi lost her life following direct gunfire by repressive forces in Tehran

The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Friday, January 9, 2026, a 23-year-old Kurdish woman named Rezvan Abdi, a student from Tazehabad Vazir in Divandareh County, lost her life during the popular protests in Tehran as a result of direct live-fire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to HANA sources, her body was buried in the cemetery of the village of Tazehabad Vazir.
