A Kurdish citizen was transferred to Marivan Prison to serve a prison sentence

The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Wednesday, January 24, 2026, a Kurdish citizen named Aram Nikpey, from the village of Ney in Marivan County, was transferred to the county prison to serve a sentence.

According to an informed source, Mr. Nikpey had previously been sentenced by the Marivan Revolutionary Court to three months of imprisonment for “propaganda against the regime.”

It should be noted that earlier, on Friday, March 21, 2025, this Kurdish citizen was arrested after being summoned to the Marivan Intelligence Office and was temporarily released on bail following the completion of the interrogation process.
