The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that more than two weeks after the arbitrary arrest of a 21-year-old Kurdish citizen, Danial Bahrami, a hairdresser from Javanrud County, no information is available regarding his place of detention or his condition.
According to received reports, Danial Bahrami was arrested on Friday, January 10, 2026, by security forces due to a video he published in support of public strikes and protests, as well as for joining the December 24, 2025 strike, and was transferred to an unknown location.
It is noteworthy that the content of this video explicitly supported the protesters and announced the suspension of work, stating: “No activities on the page or in the salon, act with dignity, and hope for better days.”
