According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn today, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the death sentences of two prisoners were carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj. The executed prisoners have been identified as Hossein Biabani, from Harsin, and Ahmad Yousefi, from Afghanistan.
According to the reports, Hossein Biabani had been convicted on charges related to “drug offenses,” while Ahmad Yousefi was arrested on charges of rape and subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
