Amid the ongoing wave of mass arrests in Bukan, another citizen has been detained by security forces.
According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 (10 Tir 1404), a 36-year-old Kurdish citizen identified as Anwar Ebrahimzadeh, from Bukan, was arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
Hana has learned that Mr. Ebrahimzadeh’s arrest was carried out without the presentation of any judicial documents.
It is worth noting that between June 17 and July 1, 2025 (28 Khordad to 10 Tir 1404), at least 11 citizens from Bukan have been arrested for unknown reasons and without court warrants, and transferred to undisclosed locations.
