ccording to Hana and as reported by HalVash, in the early hours of Tuesday, July 1, 2025, forces from the IRGC Intelligence Organization and the police raided the village of Gunich in Khash County, claiming the presence of armed individuals. The raid involved direct gunfire at village women, resulting in the death of a woman named Khan-Bibi Bamari and injuries to 11 other women.
In response, protesting Baloch women blocked the village entrances and burned car tires in an attempt to prevent further incursions by the attacking forces. The protest lasted from 5 a.m. to around 10 a.m., and videos show security forces firing directly at women while women are seen throwing stones.
According to HalVash, four of the injured women are under the age of 18, and the condition of two of them is reported to be critical. Additionally, a pregnant woman named Reyhaneh Bamari lost her unborn child due to physical assault.
Local sources report that the attack occurred when no men were present in the village, and all the victims were women. This incident once again highlights the ongoing cycle of violence and targeted repression against Baloch civilians.
