On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, Karim Qaderpour, the father of Awat Qaderpour, one of the victims of the Jina revolutionary movement in the city of Bukan, was arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by Hana Human Rights Organization, 10 days after his arrest, there is still no information regarding his whereabouts, physical condition, or the charges brought against him. This situation has caused serious concern for his family and relatives.
It is worth noting that Awat Qaderpour, a 20-year-old from the village of Molalar and a resident of Bukan, was severely injured on November 18, 2022, during the nationwide protests after being directly shot by security forces. He later succumbed to his injuries on November 30, 2022, at Seyed al-Shohada Hospital in Orumiyeh.
