The execution of a prisoner in Bukan Central Prison

According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Monday, April 7, 2025, the execution of a prisoner identified as “Seyed Taha Hassani,” son of Seyed Raouf and a native of Bukan, was carried out in the city’s central prison.

According to the report, this prisoner was arrested five years ago on charges of “premeditated murder” of a citizen identified as “Yaghoub Noreh” and was sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Hana’s investigations indicate that Taha Hassani was under the age of 18 at the time the murder was committed.

According to informed sources, the victim was the owner of a pastry shop and had a record of repeatedly sexually assaulting workshop workers—some of whom were under the age of 18—and had reportedly filmed them during these assaults. Taha Hassani was one of the victims of these assaults.

It is also worth mentioning that the victim had previously served time in prison due to his affiliation with fundamentalist Islamic groups.
