On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, a construction worker named Mohammad Jamil Ghorbani, son of Mohammad Ali, from Kermanshah, tragically lost his life after falling from a building while working. Mohammad Jamil Ghorbani was married and the father of three children.
The lack of proper oversight by officials regarding work practices and worker safety, as well as the negligence of employers, are key factors contributing to the unsafe working conditions. This situation has led to Iran ranking 102nd globally in terms of work safety, making it a very unsafe country for workers.
