According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: At dawn on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the execution of a prisoner identified as “Hamzeh Garavand,” a 28-year-old from Kuhdasht, Lorestan province, was carried out in Bandar Abbas Central Prison.
According to the received reports, this prisoner was arrested in 2022 on charges related to "drug offenses" and was sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
