According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, Keyvan Rasouli-Azar, a resident of Oshnavieh County, was arrested after being summoned to and appearing before the Sentence Enforcement Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Oshnavieh. He was subsequently transferred to Naqadeh Central Prison to serve his sentence.
Rasouli-Azar had previously been sentenced to two years of Ta’zir imprisonment by Branch One of the Oshnavieh Revolutionary Court on security-related charges, including “sending information to media outlets outside the country.”
It should be noted that Keyvan Rasouli-Azar was arrested by security forces on December 2, 2025, and was temporarily released on bail after completing the interrogation process.
