According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, a citizen identified as Esmail Sufi Mina, a native of Mahabad County, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to the information received, Mr. Sufi Mina was arrested following a raid by security forces on his home, without the presentation of any judicial warrant. His son was also arrested during the operation but was released several hours later.
