Preventing blood donation in the cities of Iranian Kurdistan

In all human societies, there are incidents and accidents , which put aid agencies on alert to help and assist people, and these relief centres are forced to call in and seek help from the public. Among them, we can mention massive fires, floods, storms, chain accidents, war and blood donation.

Following the start of nationwide uprisings in Iran, and the spread of popular strikes and protests, the regime of the Islamic Republic, like other dictatorial governments, instead of creating a peaceful atmosphere, started killing and injuring people by any means and by people who were only for ideology and thoughts, they had participated in the suppression of the protests.

Meanwhile, the share of Kurdish and Baluch-inhabited cities from repressions and inhumane violence is more visible than other Iranian cities.

Perhaps with a brief look at the history of the struggles and protests of the Kurdish regions throughout history, it can be proven that the dictatorial governments have used every tactic to destroy the Kurds for their survival.

We have seen many people killed and injured in the shooting of the security forces، special guards and IRGC on the people of Javanrud, Kermanshah, Mahabad, Piranshahr, Diwandare, Sanandaj, Bukan, Dehgolan and other Kurdish cities, all of whom are in dire need of blood, and blood transfusion organizations are in dire need of donors.

Unfortunately, following reports to Hana Human Rights Organization, security forces have ordered hospitals and blood transfusion organizations to ban and not to accept blood or cooperate with blood donors.

This issue is a gross violation of human rights and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is trying to commit genocide and kill the wounded in the Kurdish areas.

The global community and human rights organizations and the United Nations must react seriously to prevent a humanitarian crisis and genocide in Kurdish areas.

Hana Human Rights Organization clearly states that the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran refrains from donating blood to the wounded and people who were injured during the 2022, 2023 protests.

Maybe we can give life to another person with the voice of each person.
