Wounding of a Kolbar by Gunfire from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran

According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Tuesday, July 29, 2025, a kolbar was seriously wounded after being shot by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the “Ashterabad” border area, located in the Nanor district of Baneh County.

Hana has identified the injured kolbar as Bahram Mik, 35 years old, married and father of two children, originally from the village of Mik in the Sarshiw district of Saqqez, and currently residing in Tarkhanabad, Baneh.

According to a reliable source, the Iranian armed forces opened fire on this kolbar despite the fact that he was not carrying any goods at the time.

The same source added that the injured kolbar was first taken to Salah-e ddin Ayoubi Hospital in Baneh for medical treatment, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to a hospital in Saqqez.
