According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on Monday, 22 December 2025, a citizen identified as Vahed (Sa’don) Parnian, married and from Oshnavieh, was arrested by security forces for the enforcement of his five-year prison sentence and transferred to the central prison of this city.
According to the received reports, this Kurdish citizen had previously been arrested during the 12-day Iran–Israel war on charges of “espionage for Israel” and was ultimately sentenced to five years in prison by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
