According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, more than 25 days have passed since the arrest of a Kurdish citizen identified as Hesam Esmaili from Piranshahr, yet his fate remains unknown.
Hesam Esmaili, 44 years old, is married and the father of four children.
It should be noted that Mr. Esmaili was arrested by security forces on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
