According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, more than 36 days have passed since the arrest of a couple, Zainab Azizi and Sirvan Amini, from Sanandaj. They remain in total isolation, and their fate is currently unknown.
Hana’s sources state that the couple was arrested by Intelligence Department forces in Sanandaj on Saturday, March 7, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
It is worth noting that since their arrest, no information has been made available regarding the reasons for their detention or the charges brought against them.
