According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, more than 24 days have passed since the detention of a Kurdish citizen identified as Rahim Biniaz, from Eslamabad-e Gharb and administrator of the Telegram channel “Il Hazareh Kalhor,” due to his support for the public protests in January 2026. He was arrested by security forces in Karaj and transferred to an unknown location.
According to received reports, Mr. Biniaz was detained on 22 January 2026 by security forces in Karaj without presentation of any judicial documents.
It should be noted that Rahim Biniaz is a former member of the army.
