It is worth noting that in recent years, due to the lack of workplace safety and employers’ neglect of occupational health and safety standards, the number of work-related accidents in Kurdistan and other parts of Iran has been steadily increasing. According to international human rights and labor conventions, governments are obligated to ensure the safety and well-being of workers in their workplaces.
