According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Saturday, 20 December 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Behzad Hosseini Rad, from Sahneh County, was carried out in Kermanshah Central Prison.
On the same day, the execution of another prisoner identified as Yarhossein Hassanvand, from Khoramabad, was carried out in the central prison of that city.
According to Hana’s sources, the two prisoners had previously been arrested in separate cases on charges of “premeditated murder” and, after completing judicial proceedings, were sentenced to death by the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
