The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that at dawn on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Ali Astan, a resident of Kermanshah, was carried out in Dizelabad Central Prison in Kermanshah.
Also, at dawn on Sunday, November 2, 2025, another prisoner identified as Mohsen Yarbeigi, also from Kermanshah, was executed in Karaj Penitentiary.
According to Hana’s sources, Ali Astan had been arrested about a year ago, and Mohsen Yarbeigi five years ago, both on charges of “premeditated murder” in separate cases. They were later sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
