According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in recent days two Kurdish citizens — Rahman Hosseini and Ahmad Mam-Sharifi, originally from Silveh village and residents of Piranshahr — have been sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of this city to a total of six years and six months of ta’zir imprisonment on charges of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
According to Hana’s sources, Rahman Hosseini has been sentenced to three years and three months of ta’zir imprisonment, and Ahmad Mam-Sharifi has been sentenced to three years.
It should be noted that these two citizens were arrested by security forces on 20 June 2025, without the presentation of any judicial warrant, at their homes and transferred to an undisclosed location. They remain in detention.
