According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, 27 December 2025, two environmental activists named Ramin Salehi and Sabah Salehi, residents of the Hasanabad neighborhood in Sanandaj County, were arrested by the Intelligence Organization of the IRGC.
According to an informed source, Ramin Salehi was arrested at his workplace, while Sabah Salehi was detained in his private garden. Both were arrested by IRGC intelligence forces without the presentation of judicial warrants and were transferred to an undisclosed location.
The source added that the arrests of these two environmental activists followed the holding of the cultural and environmental “Zagrosaneh” ceremony, which took place on Friday at Hasanabad Castle.
