According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the death sentences of three Kurdish prisoners; Milad Yari, Arman Kakavand, and Mobin Sarvari, were carried out in Ghezel Hesar and Karaj Central prisons.
According to the report, Milad Yari and Arman Kakavand, both 32 years old and from the city of Nurabad in Lorestan province, were arrested about six years ago on charges related to drug offenses and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
On the same day, Mobin Sarvari, a 27-year-old Kurdish man from Ilam, who had previously been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and sentenced to death, was executed in Karaj Central Prison.
