According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at least three Kurdish citizens—Zahed Zarei, Jafar Mahmoudi, and Hossein Mahmoudi, all from Chavar County in illam Province—were arrested by security forces, subjected to physical assault, and transferred to an unknown location.
It should be noted that since their arrest, there has been no information available regarding the reasons for their detention or their place of custody.
