Farhad Navaei, 16 years old, is from Trshkan village, Mahabad district.
It should be mentioned that on November 18, 2022, during the popular protests in Mahabad city, he was arrested by the government forces, and by a special juvenile criminal court based in Mahabad on the charge of "assembly and collusion to commit crimes against the internal security of the country". he was sentenced to two years of penal servitude in Orumieh Correctional Center, including the days of detention.
Mizan news agency affiliated with the Judiciary had published news about Farhad Navaei and claimed that the court had acquitted him of the charge of "combat".
