Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that in the early hours of Saturday, May 10, 2025, a Kolbar identified as Arman Raizan, 31 years old and a resident of Gogjeh village in the Marivan region, was killed by direct gunfire from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s border guards in the border area of Dopelure.
According to information received by Hana, Arman Raizan was married and the father of two young children. At the time of the incident, he was working as a Kolbar alongside a group of others when the border forces opened fire on them without prior warning. The shooting resulted in his immediate death at the scene.
