According to reports, more than seven days have passed since the arrest of Fariba Zandkarimi, a teacher and women’s rights activist, but until now, there is no information about her fate and whereabouts, and this has caused concern to the relatives of Ms. Zandkarimi.
Fariba Zandkarimi, a 35-year-old contract teacher of the Sanandaj Department of Education, was arrested on the evening of Wednesday, April 5, 2023, after being summoned to the Intelligence Department of this city, and immediately after the arrest, the government forces raided the said house and searched the house. Some of her personal belongings, including her computer and books, were seized and taken away.
