Hana: At dawn on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 , the death sentences of two prisoners, Mohammad Koushki, 25 years old, son of Momen Bag and from the village of Tong Kabood in the Kuhdasht district, and Salam Babakhani Jafari, 65 years old, from the village of Jayeh Hatam Atiwand Jonoubi in the Noorabad district of Lorestan province, were carried out in Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj.
According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, these two prisoners had previously been arrested on charges related to “drug offenses” and were subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
