According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the death sentences of two Kurdish prisoners, Bijan Ghahari, a father of one and a resident of Kamarzard village in the Islamabad-e Gharb district, and Arash Mehri, from Kermanshah, were carried out in Dizelabad Central Prison in Kermanshah.
According to the received reports, the two prisoners had previously been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Additional reports indicate that the execution of another prisoner from Kermanshah, identified as Shahram Chenani, who had also been arrested and sentenced to death on the same charge of “premeditated murder,” was carried out in the same prison on the same day.
