Hana Human Rights Organization has been informed that early this morning, Sunday, November 9, 2025, the death sentences of three prisoners were carried out at Orumiyeh Central Prison.
The identities of the three executed prisoners, as confirmed by Hana’s sources, are: Mohammadreza Badvi, 47, married and father of four, from the village of “Kusi” in the Nazlu district of Orumiyeh; Reza Molaei, 48, from the village of “Qolnji” in the Anzal district of Orumiyeh County; and Mahdi (surname unknown).
According to Hana’s sources, Mohammadreza Badvi and Reza Molaei were arrested in 2019 on charges related to “drug offenses” by security forces and subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Mahdi was also arrested on similar charges and sentenced to the same punishment.
It is noteworthy that, with the execution of these three prisoners, at least five prisoners have been executed at Orumiyeh Central Prison from Friday until this morning, Sunday, November 9, 2025.
