Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Qasem Amraei, a resident of Kuhdasht County, was carried out at the Central Prison of illam.
According to the information received, this prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of intentional murder and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
