According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Friday, November 7, 2025, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Hawre Jahan Ara, a native of Sardasht, was carried out at Orumiyeh Central Prison.
Hawre Jahan Ara was married and a father of one child.
According to the information received, he had been arrested two years ago on charges related to “drug offenses” by security forces and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It is noteworthy that on the same day, the death sentence of Shams-e din (Shahab) Abasi, a Kurdish prisoner from the “Kay” village in the Silvaneh district of Orumiyeh County, was also carried out at the city’s central prison.
