According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Tuesday, 27 January 2025, corresponding to 27 January 2026, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Ghobad Fathi, a native of Sahneh County in Kermanshah Province, was carried out in illam Central Prison.
Sources informed Hana that this prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and was later sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
