According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Ali Saedpanah, 21 years old and a resident of Kalateh Aghazadeh village in Esfrayen, was carried out in Esfrayen Prison.
Hana’s sources report that this prisoner was arrested on March 21, 2023 on charges of “premeditated murder” of his cousin and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
