As part of the ongoing wave of mass arrests in Mahabad, at least three more citizens have been detained by security forces.
According to received reports, on the evening of Saturday, January 25, 2025, a citizen identified as Mansour Mouloudpouri, a resident of Mahabad, was arrested by security forces at his workplace without the presentation of any judicial documents and was transferred to an unknown location.
According to Hana’s sources, after arresting Mr. Mouloudpouri, security forces raided his home and conducted a search.
Additionally, in recent days, two other citizens, identified as Jalal Parhizkar and Sarvar Hamma Nazdar, residents of Haji Ali Kand village, a suburb of Mahabad, were also arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
Hana has learned that the arrest of these two citizens also took place without the presentation of judicial documents and occurred at their private residences.
As of the time of this report’s publication, no information is available regarding the reasons for their arrest or the charges brought against these three Kurdish citizens.
