Hana: On the morning of Saturday, February 15, 2025, Shirko Tabnak, a 36-year-old citizen from Bukan, was arrested after being summoned to the Enforcement of Judgments Branch of the Bukan Judiciary to serve his four-month prison sentence. He was subsequently transferred to Bukan Prison.
Previously, Branch 101 of the Criminal Court 2 of Bukan had sentenced Shirko Tabnak to five months of imprisonment and seven months of suspended imprisonment on charges of “propaganda against the regime in favor of a Kurdish opposition party of the Iranian government.”
Mr. Tabnak was initially arrested by security forces on July 14, 2021, and on December 11, 2021, he was transferred to Bukan Prison to serve his sentence. After completing his prison term, he was released on May 6, 2022.
